Square ceiling diffusers type DLQ (steel) and ADLQ (aluminium) are ideal for flush mounting in ceilings. They are suitable for use in rooms with heights up to 4.00 m. The recommended supply air temperature differential is + 10 k. Ceilings diffusers can be used both for supply and extract applications.
With a fixed blade arrangement the ceiling diffusers are mainly suitable for horizontal discharge.
Specially developed ancillaries and plenum boxes, with optional flow control dampers, are available to ensure optimum discharge characteristics.
Installation- Mounting Details:
Type DLQ or ADLQ ceiling diffusers can be adapted for use in almost all situations using the accessories available. All models and sizes are designed for installation in suspended ceiling. The plenum box can be fixed to the ceiling slab using standard hanging brackets If the installed using a cross bar and center screw. The …=AR rear mounting ring is suitable for this method.
For constructions without plenum box an installation subframe is available. Some installation examples are shown below.
The diffuser face and rear-mounted ancillaries are in deep drawn or formed sheet steel. The surfaces are phosphate treated and stove-enamelled using an electro-dipcoat process, with the diffuser face white (EAL 9002) and the rear ancillaries black (RAL 9005). The plenum box is rolled galvanizes sheet steel to DIN 17 162.
The diffuser face is in extruded aluminium sections. Natural anodized E6-C-o. The rear ancillaries are in formed sheet steel. The surfaces are phosphate treated and black

A rectangular ceiling diffuser with multiple air flow patterns and with a volume control damper. The frame ad blades are extruded aluminum alloy with an anodized satin finish. The frame has a typical wall thickness of 1/8" thick, 3/8" wide foam tape that products a positive air seal at the mounting surface.
This ceiling diffuser projects 3/16" from the mounting surface. The unit size increases in 3-inch increments beginning with 9 inch x 6 inch as the smallest available.
The opposed blade damper section connects to the frame with screws and is lever operated from the face of the unit. The frame of the damper housing is separated from blades with PVC bushings. This method of assembly helps eliminate corrosion and vibration. Equalizing grid is provided as an option.
A Square ceiling diffuser wit multiple air flow patterns but with no volume control damper. The frame and blades are extruded aluminum alloy with an anodized satin finish. The frame has a typical wall thickness of 1/16". The inner core of the diffuser is fully removable for easy installation. It is held in place wit four machine screws and two spring steel clips which together center the core in the frame. At the outer edge of the frame is a channel which retains a 1/8" thick, 3/8" wide foam tape that produces a positive air seal at the mounting surface.
